Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions.

Last updated: July 2026

Concept text · have these terms reviewed by a lawyer before launch and complete the business details (VAT id, cancellation periods and insurance requirements).

1. Who and what

These terms apply to all services of Nomadic Horsemanship, the practice of Loes van Dijk, De Heikampen 24, 5482 ZR Schijndel, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 56867921): one-to-one lessons, horse training, the Nomadic Pathways, clinics and talks, and the Retreat. Questions? Email info@nomadichorsemanship.com.

2. Signing up and placement

Signing up goes through the request form. A request is not yet a place: I read every request myself and confirm personally whether, and where, there is room. Placement is final only after my confirmation and your agreement on price and dates.

3. Paying

Prices and payment options are confirmed at placement. For a Pathway, payment can be spread across the year. Payment is due within the term on the invoice.

4. Cancelling and rescheduling

Life with horses does not always let itself be planned. If you cannot make it, let me know as early as you can and we will find a solution together. The exact cancellation periods and any costs are in your placement confirmation.

If I have to reschedule a stage, lesson or clinic myself, for example because of weather, terrain or the health of a horse, you will always be offered a new date.

5. Your horse, your responsibility

You know your horse best. As the owner you remain responsible for your horse, for suitable third-party liability insurance, and for sharing honestly what I need to know: health, history and behaviour. Taking part in activities with horses is at your own risk.

6. Safety

I work in freedom and at the pace of the horse, and I take safety seriously. Follow the instructions during sessions. I can adjust or stop a session when the safety of human or horse asks for it.

7. Liability

Being around horses carries risk. Nomadic Horsemanship is not liable for damage or injury, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Additional travel and insurance conditions apply to the Retreat; you receive them with your reservation.

8. Image and text

Photos and videos of sessions are only shared with your consent. Texts, names and working formats of Nomadic Horsemanship may not be used commercially without agreement.

9. Dutch law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.

Nomadic Horsemanship
